		<description>I think this is a lovely idea.  However, not only do sizes vary from store to store, but also brand to brand.  Some of the higher-end stores (Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's) DO keep a file on you if you shop there regularly enough.  The problem with stores like that is if you have to spend $200 on a pair of pants or $500 on a sweater, it is really not worth it.

You could consider actual MEASUREMENTS on the card, maybe on a little retractable tape measure.   Or have a "wish list" sort of card; I always want cardigans or nice white button downs, but don't think about basics when I'm shopping.</description>
